no dash lights & shifter light

hey guys, do u think the bulbs are blown?...how ez will it be to remove speedometer w/o messing it & then my clock won't work. second, my sunroof does not open. i hear the motor, the switch works, i heard the motor, but it would'nt open. do i need to rip the headliner to get ot it?...if i do, how do i do it w/o ripping the headliner sunroof. i just want everything on car to work

damn, that's the only thing wrong w/ the car. bought it 4 $700 from an elderly couple. it's been in storage 4 5years & looks new, og paint & chrome 14" wheels. it still has blue ca plates.

i already have sound system, alarm, tint, new underhood cover

for the lights its probably the constant wire. had to rewire mine. You can check by just running a wire from the back of the climate control where the light is to any constant slot under the dash to the left of the clutch pedal. If this doesnt make the lights work then pull out the cluster and check the red fuse.

thx man, is it hard to remove the cluster?...can i pull it out w/ my hands or do i need a special tool?

It should be a little tough to pull out. Take two hangers and straighten them out and make a hook at the end. Have it 90 degrees and just over 1/4 inch long. You will then be able to slide it on either side of the IC and then hook onto some part of the cluster and be able to pull it out.

you push it out from the back. and you can either undo the speedo cable before or after, just gotta get under the dash and remove the piping to the far left vent.

hey guys i have dash related question does anybody know the 15 pin for the dash i guess someone tried stealing the dash (failed just pissed me off when i picked the car up)or something. but i guess in the process the broke the plug box on the lower left of the instrument cluster if any body knows and the chick at mercedes screwed me over telling me that they have the wiring diagram for the car on startekinfo.com but only after i paid 18.50 for one day did it tell me they have information on all models from 2012 - 1994 but i have a 91' 190e so... im 4 years and a model to late. but yeah any help would be apreciated i know theres a couple of other ppl with this problem and i couldnt find an aswer anywhere. sorry for posting a question in your post but Stay "God like" and thank you
