190e 2.3-16valve
engine code question

whats up guys im new o this whole forum thing i have a 85 190e 2.3-16 i was wondering if anyone knew where i can get a set of pistons im looking to bore out my car to either a 2.5 or possibly a 2.8 and if there is any websites or anything where i can find some performance parts for it also if anyone knows the engine code for this articular car

If you've looked, there isn't much "meat" in the 2.3-16 cylinder bores to take away, but it can be done. The 2.5-16 modified piston stroke to up the displacement, although I recall that euro tuner Oettinger did bore out motor to get to 2.5.

You dont want to go bigger then 2.5, the engine will not run as smoothly.
There are stroker kits, thats about all you want to do.

bekkers i tried them they dont seem to have it hopefully u guys hve other places where i can mod my car does anyone kno how i can figure out the engine code? and would getting my cams cut hurt my car in the long run or decrease my Hp
