low rpm missing

Hello all!

My first post here on MBworld, although I've got some good info before from here from the old posts.

My 190e 2.3 (automatic, 140k miles) misses when its under a load during low rpms. The problem is worse when its cold. For example, if I'm backing out of my parking space in morning and dragging the brake a little ... it will usually miss and then stall. If I keep the rpms up (like on the highway) then its ok. I took it to a shop, but I didn't like their prices.

The CEL is on, with "temp sensor" code. O2 light is also on.

I'm not much of mechanic, but if the shop is just going to guess then I can guess alot cheaper. What I've done so far:

New water temp sensor
New air temp sensor
New fan switch

What I'm planning:

Temp sending unit
Rotor button
Plugs
O2 sensors

The distributor, wires, plugs are only about a year old. Any thoughts or ramblings appreciated!

I would have started with new plugs, check the wires and connections.

There should be other codes since the O2 light is on.

thought i'd update this thread:

the headgasket went last week. i really don't know if it was part of the problem, or if it happened as a result of the problem. the water temp had always looked fine before.

oh well. looks like i'll be on the ducati for awhile.
