Looking for a swap for my 190E Sportline

Im new to these boards but recently purchased a 190E sportline from a fellow member here. Unfortunately i have some engine probs and im somewhat looking to completely swap for another engine instead of spending alot to fix what i have.

Does anybody know of any places online thats legit to get swaps from. Ive been into hondas prior to this car and unfortunately the only places i know that i trust only deal with Hondas. Was hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction.

I am looking to replace what i have with a E500 or a C36. My other question is if i swap it for a E500 is it pretty simple or is it alot of work. I think the C36 is a ****load of work and re-wiring if im not mistaken but im curious if the E500 swap is easier AND can i use my current tranny with the new E500 or do i need the tranny too. Right now my tranny is perfect so if i dont need to buy one, why bother.

Any info would be appreciated fellas!

heres some pictures of how it sits right now.

for fun i wanted to see what some black wheels will look like on my car as a second set, so i photoshopped some on there ha ha.

e500 would be more work than the c36 swap due to the e500 is a V8 while the C36 are a Inline... Judgeing by the pics... I would say you have the 2.6 m103 Engine... Swaping to a m104 (Which is the newer inlines that includes the c36 would need some rewiring done, and a couple other things... The e500 you would have to drop the subframe.... move the engine mounts... ext.... since its V not an Inline.. As i have a 2.6 190e im debating weather to go m103 (The 3 liter, which is plug and play) or the m104 (from the c280 would require some wireing)

thanks for the 411! would love to eventually do a C36 changeover, i was just thinking it was more work for some reason. I figured the 500 would be exactly the same as replacing mine with another 190E 2.6. I came cross another 2.6 with super low miles, might just do that for the time being until i can track down a C36.
