1999 Ford Contour SVT
190e Reliability and Repairs help
I have always loved and looked up to the 190e from America and Euro.
I am looking to get rid of my corolla and buy one as my corolla hasnt been the reliable one recently. The engine blew a couple days ago!
I would like to know everyones experiences with this car. I found a 1984 190e 2.3 litre 5 speed with 115k miles with a new clutch, brakes, stainless steel stock exhaust (all work done within the last year). One owner for the past 22 years. Old man got knee surgery and isnt fond of the clutch anymore Car looked clean and decent as well.
Although I love these cars and this will eventually end up being a big project and be all done up. At the current moment I do not want another headache. (My Contour SVT[garage queen] is in the garage still getting ready for paint and My corollas engine just breaking).
What are your experiences with this car. From Prices of Parts, how hard parts are to find, how much of a pita it may be to work on?
