HEY YALL...I plan on dropping the suspension 2 inchs using hr springs i found bilstein struts. i want to use a 18 x 8 wheels. is there any recommendations for a better setup. will the 18's fit with the 2 inch drop. does the fenders need to be rolled....any help will be great thanks.and do i need wheel spacers if i use the evo 2 bodykit....thanx again john

Fevo kits look like ****. H&Rs dont drop the car too much, you will have to cut the springs. Uncut H&Rs up front in my cossie looked like it wasnt even lowered. 18x8 will fit just wont look right. IMO i wouldnt go higher than 17s on a 201, because bigger just doesnt look right and the car is 3 feet off the ground. Remember its all about tire size when it comes to rims. You can be slammed on 18s but youll have to run some stretch. Then just poke with some spacers in the rear. Id go with some 205/35s

i know u have alot of knowledge about mercedes. i just cant understand why a 2inch lowering spring wont lower the car. cutting a spring is dangerous. ive done it on mustangs. ive seen 18 on a 190 e,it looks great. yes you lose tire meat.and as far as the evo kit,i have no other choice im not paying euro from reiger...i have a excellent body mechanis and ill send photos when done,even you will be impressed.

Ive seen a Fevo that had 10K in bodywork and took 10 months to complete, less than a year later it looked like garbage. And atleast this car was turbo'd so it had some ***** under all that fake flare big wing junk. In under a year it looked like crap, the kits too heavy and daily driving causes it too much stress. Plus you cant get rid of that awful 2 feet of front fender gap (ask anyone whos done it always gonna look like a Fevo).

The springs may say they will lower the car blahblah but H&R over exaggerates. What exact springs are you getting? The only ones they sell by themselves (no cup kit) barely lower the car. I have before and after pictures...
