Lights come on
Lights come on
1985 190E 2.3 L. The front side lights and tail lights come on sometimes especially wjen it rains. I tried removing the fuses for the lights but they stayed on. I'm thinking I have a short between circuits 15 and 30 in my fusebox. All the power windows except front passenger don't work. The clock / tachometer does not work. How can I check the fusebox for shorts? In addition, my electric auxiliary cooling fan will not start. Fan does work when voltage is applied. Replaced the relay twice, no help. Noticed a ground on the heated washer nozzle side of the temperature switch. Disconnected the nozzle and ground still there. The relay does not appear to be working even though it is new. There is a ground on pin connector 2 of the relay. I believe that all the electrical problems are related to a shorted fuse box. I just noticed that there is also a terminal block for the interior which also connects all these circuits. Does anyone have any suggestions?
