vw corrado
Looking to join the 190 club.

Hey there, I am currently trying to play around with some ideas for diffrent daily drivers. I've never before owned a Benz, but have a love for the 190s. I guess the reason I'm posting is get some input. I currently own a Vw corrado which I adore, and have owned a few other german cars. When I say daily driver I don't necessary mean beater. I don't drive all that much even on a daily commute. I'm just looking for something to replace my corrado so i can do some more intensive work on it.

I really like the idea of owning one of the 16vs. How reliable are they? I'm guessing the parts prices arent pretty. What should I look out for? Are any of the other 190e models worth considering?
Thanks ahead of time.

1983 M-B 300TDT and 1987 M-B 190D 2.5
We've owned an '83 300TDT wagon for a while and I recently added an '87 190D. Personally, I love the diesels for their longevity, relative ease of maintence and gas mileage.

Have you considered looking for a 190 diesel? Sometimes they're harder to find, but I think they're fantastic.
