w201 key wont turn

w201 key wont turn
so its winter, and i just got a new clutch put in my 1987 190e 8v 5spd. i was driving it last night, and when i went to get in it this morning, i put the key in and it wouldn't turn. could this just be because of the cold weather and could i use some of that ignition warming spray stuff, or will i have to get a new ignition? just looking for some help, sorry if i was a little vague.

quick little update:
got a new ignition lock cylinder, but i cant get the old one out! can anyone help me on info for how to remove the one in there? much appreciated.

I haven't done one, but I think you need to get it to turn with the key so that the two holes on the outside of the cylinder line up, then you need to stick a special tool into the holes before it comes out.

do you know any other way of doing that? because the key wont turn at all to line up the holes.

well, i got the little font disc to turn so i can line up the holes, but i need that tool to remove the lock cylinder. any ideas on how to make the tool or where i could get one? also, could you please help on how to remove the black cover that surrounds the lock cylinder? im purchasing two cossy's and i need to get this fixed so i can sell it, as its for sale. im gonna take a wack at it tomorrow morning and try to get it done any help would be greatly appreciated.

since nobody really helped me out with this at all, i searched the internet to find the correct way of doing it, and if anyone else has the problem, check out this thread. read through the whole thing and someone named bob has a very detailed description of what to do.
