Is There A Market For Old, Broken 190's?
I have a 1991 190E 2.6. It has 185,000 miles on her. The car is in great shape except that it needs a new transmission (the car will not run).
The car served me well for 12 years, but this last year, it has been expensive and I will not put another dime into it.
My question: Is there a market for this car? Is there a special Mercedes organization that might buy it? Ebay?
I would give it to charity, but because of my tax situation, I cannot get a deduction.
Any thoughts?

well, I Just bought one, a 2.3-16 except mine is running pretty good (with 167,000) but the trunk and left rear quarter panel is crunched up. (and the rear pan and the drivers side rear light fixture). but it was hit up high, so the rear bumper and the kit is un-touched. also there seems to very little frame damage. picked it up for 350!

Honestly, I would try ebay. Don't expect to make a fortune, but someone might pick it up and want to rebuild/restore it. You could also try parting it out.
