92 190e 2.6 oil and coolant mix dripping from front suspension cradle.

This is my first experience with a forum of any kind, so I hope someone actually can view this. I have a 190e 2.6 (one owner) 143K miles and have an oil leak dripping from the front suspension cradle about every 20 seconds while running, a pretty good drip while up on my ramps and the belly cover removed. It seems dilutted with no signs of coolant. No coolant in oil either. It smells somewhat metallic. I thought it was the head gasket which I think usually leak at the back but I dont think It would flow uphill and drip off. The front upper cover has been resealed 3 times over the years but is wet as usual. The location of the drip is what is puzzling to me. Five weeks a go the water pump, radiator, tensioner and all hoses were replaced as well. My question is.....where else might this oil be coming from. As I lay underneath and watch there is no upper flow activity down the block to add up to such a consistent dripping. Thanks for any help and I look forward to using the forum. There is definitely an oil coolant mix dripping but no coolant that I can tell in the oil.

How are the levels of each component?

It may also be the power steering or cooling line from trans to the radiator. when it runs along the engine it will pick up debris and appear to be oil.

Very good suggestions, I have monitored it for 5 days, and do know that it is coming from the drivers side. I can wipe everything clean, run the car for 30 minutes in the garage and watch it drip from the front frame member from the backside, up on the ramps, so at an angle. It does have coolant in it. A drip always appears on the underside of the drivers side motor mount. I can see the brown mix from up top with a flashlight moving along on top of the frame member. I also think that it is most definitely from the head. Once the car is turned of it really lays down a puddle. Thanks so much for your response and ideas, because I dont have any at this point.

The mystery has been solved

The fluid that has been leaking from my 190E from frame crossmember, the one directly under the oil pan, was coming from the drivers side motor mount. I did no know they were fluid filled. Nor did I know they could leak that much. Replaced both obviously and all is well. I was not looking forward to replacing the head gasket. Thanks for all the replys.
