2.6 acceleration issues
i have a 2.6 with pretty extensive engine work done. from a stop at full throttle the car is very sluggish and struggles to gain RPM then all of a sudden i get full power. then sometimes at full throttle tru the gears it feels the same way. also while cruising it feels like the car is surging or decelerating. any suggestions?

Most likely a EHA adjustment issue (running lean under load/accelleration)
there are a few god threads on EHA adjustment (I suggest looking at the W124 forum).
Here is a good description without going into the full in's and outs of the system.

What sort of engine work has been done?

thanks for the info, im going to take it to a local MB shop that i "trust" and have them set the mixture for me. as far as the engine work, its been bored over to a 3.0, cam, 5 angle valve job, port/polished head, port matched intake/exhaust manifold, custom 2.5" true dual exhaust.
