Hi, Ive got a 190E 2.3 and intermittantly when its cold it will stumble at start up. It will start up fine but when you go to put it into drive it idles really low and eventually dies. This has only happended a couple times. In the past 6 months ive replaced OVP relay, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and idle air control valve...any ideas??? Injectors maybe?

have u investigated the air flow meterng plate adjustments, and the lambda adjustment beyond that? made a big difference in the way my 2.3 SOHC started and ran as i replaced everything you mentioned also. there's a really good write-up with pix on one of these forums giving u step by step instructions on said. just my $.02, but it might be worth your while. just be very careful when , and if you have to knock the pin that controls the height of the air flow metering plate up or down, as it is an interference fit, and you don't want to mess with it too much. it's a little bit of work but well worth the effort! hope this helps, good luck!

hmm, its only on initial start up, after that the car is fine. Only happens when its ice cold say sitting for more than 4 hours. Maybe fuel pressure is not holding pressure and is dropping off? What would control that the EHA valve?

just another quick thought- have you checked/cleaned the cold start valve?? i'm still learning about my car too,but you never know! if it only happens when it's dead cold, might be the culprit! BTW, you're stepping back in time with this190E, being as you have two AMG'S! what year is your 190?
