Swapped the battery and still the same thing. Not a charge related issue. Will go to a junk yard and take a MAS and fuel pump back and test again.

1989, w124, 260 E

HI there, I own an 260 E W124.
Having the same problem for the last 2 years, it start fine but once it dies it will not start again until the engine is cold, this will happen sometime within weeks or month and has left me stranded on many occasions when i thought the problem has been resolved, sometime in the middle of road. I have since change the fuel pump, the OVP / MAS relay, spark plug, fuel distributor (lasted 6 months b4 the problem start again), distributor rotor and wires, check the fuel ratio, fuel filter, CPS and many more.
AND I don't think i m close to solving the problem.
