w201 interior swap
Hey I just got a w201 that has pristine looking leather interior, however it's blue. And blue is not my favorite color. I have access to a w202 all black interior. Has anyone ever swapped a w202 interior into a w201? Will it fit? How does it feel after? I"ve seen the video of that c36 w201 but these russians can do anything. I need some tips and if possible a DIY guide. Please help

yep car is all original, vin number and the color code plate all check out. I can sell it to the right buyer since it's rare lol. anyways i'll most likely be just replacing the steering wheel, and the woodgrain panels with faux-carbon-fiber. For some reason i want to get white dials in there as well.

Hi,nop you can`t fit an 202 interior in 201 at least no straightahead you have to do a lot of cutting and is better its own interior, instead you can dye it ,clean it ,sand it,clean it very well an then a new colour , you need to sand ad clean it several timesif you want to have a good job and most likely you like it black, don't you

I gave up on that idea of swapping the interior. most likely will swap the engine of a c36 along with the exhaust system. not sure if c36 amg can run on regular 5 speed manual transmission though

Not sure if it will bolt up to the tranny (might need to fit a machine shop bill to getthe an adapter plate of some type done) but I have heard rumors of a 3.6 version of the 201 that was done by brabus, from what I gathered, its the bottom end of a c36 mated to the jetronic fed 300E top-end. Something about using a c36 head gasket and everything is plug and play with some a/f mixture adjustments, may be a lot easier then trying to install the fuel system from a c36?
