Recommended 190 Coolant product/mix
Hi all...just doing my once every two years Peak radiator cleaning product run-thru for the next 3 hours of operation...
I currently use a 50/50 mix of Advanced Auto Parts coolant but my 190 runs a bit on the hot side when its sitting in traffic; temps come back down to 90C once I get some air flowing thru the radiator.
I was curious if its better to go back to MB coolant or just buy some Peak/Prestone/Advanced Auto Parts coolant when I change out the flush/cleaning fluid...
BTW the 190 runs cooler with the Peak cleaning product... ????
Any thoughts welcome!

Hi Dennis...thanks for the recommendation. My mechanic mentioned that as well. After putting that in it does run a few degrees cooler.
The cooling system works great while the car is moving. Its on hot days after I slow down/stop that the coolant temp climbs and stays above 100 till I get moving again. The fan does kick in when it gets up toward 120C...but I like to have it not heat up at all. Water pump was replaced not too long ago...so I think it might be the age of the radiator...
