Well, I already have the mechanics, and the base car for the project.
The base car, is a 190E 2.0 with sportline suspension, and for what I can say, pretty lightweight. It weights when it's completely dry 1140kgs.
-No sunroof
-No power windows
-No electric locks.
Or in other words, no unnecessary weight.
