Are there US spec 2.6 cars with 5 speeds?
Hi All
I'm new to this forum but not to MBs, having previously owned an 85 300D, a 98 E320, and an 02 G500.
I think my next DD is going to be a 2.6 190. Naive question, but are there US spec 5 speed 2.6s?

I have one... . It is white with a 2.6 and has the AMG package from the factory (documented). In fact, I just did the fuel injectors this weekend - hold down brackets, injector holders, "O" rings, seals. Not a bad job. Runs a hell of a lot better, but that darned EHA valve!! Leaking... . Just ordered a new (used one) from a Club Member and I hope that this solves the issue. Have replaced the "O" rings on it and it was useless.
What is this car really worth? How many of these were imported into the US? I also have a W140 (99 S500) 1 of 752 imported/sold into the US. Has "skin" issues otherwise, beautiful car - "Jewel In The Crown"... .
