1991 300sl 5 speed manual
Talking C36 AMG 16V 5 speed swap project advice
He gang.

I am installing a Getrag 5 speed from the 16valve into my 1995 C36.

I have all of the parts accept the linkage arms and the hydraulic parts.

I am wondering if anyone has done a similar swap

The only unknowns are do I need to by a 16V drive shaft or can I just lengthen the one in my C36. The mounting points look the same.

The other question. Do I use the Hydraulic parts from the 16valve or the 201 C280?

Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
