Beware the &#($*#(* thermostat cover bolts

1991 190e starting to get hot when sitting...thermostat has not been replaced in a while.

Found a really great Pelican Parts article on replacing it...the article gave more than fair warning that the bolts might be corroded and to be careful loosening them.

Snap...bolt head comes off leaving the stud but thank heavens no leaks

So I have been putting PB Blaster on the remaining bolts so my local car service shop can avoid what I did....

Just wanted to pass the word along on this...I am thinking of trying the other bolts and then backing off the cover from the remaining bolt stud...but I figure I might leave that to professionals...
