faulty ignition the reason for a/c not turning on?
Keep in mind I have the climate control button pressed down to have the a/c on when doing all this. When I would turn the ignition and start the car I would have to turn the key back slightly (not turn off the car) to get the a/c to turn on. It seems the ignition switch had something to do with getting the a/c to turn on.
So now my a/c isn't working when I turn the key slightly back. It seems like there is a short circuit that the ignition switch isn't sending the signal to the compressor to turn on.
Has anyone experienced this? Does the ignition switch play a role in getting the a/c to turn on??
