For Sale: My beloved 1984 190E 2.3
I've made the decision to part with my wonderful 1984 190E 2.3. After 20 years of ownership and great service it's just time to go. We have 438,000 miles on the odometer and got 2 high mileage awards. The engine has never had any serious work, but I did have a new clutch (yes, this is a rare 5 speed manual) two years ago and completely new air conditioning system less than one year ago. The car has its original leather seating, although I've had to patch it in places and it was repainted about 12 years ago and the paint is worn. But the good news is that the car spent the first 17 years in California and the last 16 here in Alabama so there has never been any RUST. I'm sure this 190E is one of those million mile cars, for sure another 100,000. I've personally changed the oil every 3,000 miles and kept a record of that. It has never burned a drop of oil. Anyway, I currently have 7 cars and a 4 car garage so something has to go. I'm thinking of a price of $2,000 but it is negotiable.
