bled rear brakes dry - now cannot establish flow
bled rear brakes dry - now cannot establish flow
1988 2.3 8V - no ABS
I was bleeding my rear brakes and (of course) I didn't notice that the reservoir went dry because of the partition.
Fine - not my first rodeo.
So I refilled the reservoir completely and applied about 10 psi of pressure to it and opened the bleeder screws, first on one caliper, then the other, then both.
All i get is air blowing out the nipples and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I tried pumping the brake pedal a few times but no dice.
How in the heck does the air I put in get past the full reservoir and through the brake line to the calipers ?
More to the point - how do I resolve this issue. ?
