HELP:Disconnecting centre dash console

Hi All,
I'm replacing the heater core in my 190e 2.6 and the journey has been pretty good until I got stuck disconnecting the centre dash console. I cant seem to figure out how to disconect thewires/cables that are connected to the knobs on the console. Ive attached some pictures. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
