I am getting a free 190e it is on a lot of miles but the chassis is straight and accident free. I want to build a track car but it is an automatic with a lot of miles. How hard will it be to source parts like suspension bushings, sway bars, good dampers and other track related upgrades. I was thinking of swapping in a rwd drivetrain from another car. For example the f20c or rb from nissan. Would anyone offer any advice, ideas, and comment on the feasibility of doing this.
A lot of people have done engine swaps. I've been bouncing from website to website to try and find information on engine swaps and what people have encountered for issues. Looks like if you can think it, it's most likely been done to our cars. Keep in mind a lot of the work you will do will be custom.
