W201 overheating

W201 overheating
My 1992 W201 190E 1997cc engine 102962 is overheating. I suspect the radiator fan switch/sensor. There are 2 wired sensors on top of the cylinder head at the front. 1 has 3 connections and the other has 1, my local dealer parts department is confused. there appears to be very little on the on line merc pa ts catalogue. any advice would be appreciated.

i no longer own my w201 but as I recall, one of those controls the fans.. i remember jumping or something like that to make the fans stay on all the time when car is running,... car is now in florida and does not overheat. start here:
