Hi! 190E Repair Question
I am looking at a 1993 190E that needs a new left front wheel and A Arm. How difficult is this repair? Apparently, the driver hit a pipe in the road and says the car runs great otherwise. I don't know much about the front end of these cars, and any help would be great. He's only asking $500 OBO!
Also, what makes these cars different from the standard E class of the same era?
Any help would be great!

Lower A arms with the ball joint installed can be obtained for less than $300, the rims are plentiful, it's the same as those on the 300E of the time. Make certain that's the only thing that's wrong for this $500 steal.
Don't get into the habit of calling the W201 an "E-Class" since the "E" on the 190E is the designation for fuel injection, not the "class" which was started in 1994. If anything, the W201 is closer to the C-Class W202 if anything at all, but really it is unique in Mercedes lineup. It was the lightest sedan that Mercedes produced since the 1930's and was the breakthrough model for a lot of innovations that are still being used by Daimler.
