Best 190e Swap?
Hey everybody!
My name is Ivan, im a new member, from Argentina, glad to be here!
I'm looking for some advice because i want to build a swapped 190e but im not sure what engine would be the best to fit in.
The plan is to buy a 2.0 190e (because 2.6 are hard to find here) and swap it for either a m104 or m111 and in both cases go single turbo.
From what i've been reading those are the best options for making a healthy 300whp. And also having the chance of going for more power in the future.
Bare in mind that V8 options are usually very expensive down here.
Any advice? which engine would you recomend? And whichever is the case, what specific engine version? Because i haven't found which version of those engines is the best for getting reliable power whithout spending a fortune.

Why not swap a Honda K24? 16 valves with Vtec, dirt cheap, independent ECU, transmission adapters for most common transmissions, and it's dirt cheap. The adapter+flywheel for those engines goes for around 600 USD. I'd rather blow up a Honda motor than a Mercedes if you ask me. And I'm thinking about doing the swap myself
