Value of a knocking, extremely low mileage 2.3-16v
As the title suggests, curious what I should offer for a very low mileage, rare in my country, 2.3 16v with a knocking engine.
I'm assuming it's a timing chain that never had the tensioner done and had limited oil changes, but figuring out the issue is part of the fun.
I have no idea how long it has been knocking, and haven't gotten anything out of the current owner regarding what he thinks the cause is.
Rest of the car appears to be in excellent condition.
