High throttle while standing still.

Hey! I have recently got this problem.
When i start the car the car runs smoothly. But after im finished driving a bit the throttle goes up while standing still. Doesnt matter if clutch is in or not in free gear. When i use the gears everything works normaly except when the clutch is in.
Anyone got a clue what this could be?

Which specific model of 190 do you have? Is it a standard or automatic and how many miles are on it? Also, what's your engine temperature when the idle increase takes place?

Hey its standard. 190E 2.0 1990 model. 230000km so 140000 miles. The increse takes place when the motortemprature reaches about 80 Celcius.

I own a North American 2.3 automatic model so I'm not real familiar with the European standard models. Is the engine cooling fan not coming on when the engine is at this temperature as that temperature seems pretty hot?

Tha fan is working and the temprature is normal. All after what im experienced with between 80 and 95 degrees C is normal.

Your engine temp strikes me as being on the high side as my NA model runs between 80-100 Fahrenheit. It could also be that your smaller engine runs a little hotter as it has to work a little harder than my engine to move roughly the same amount of weight.
