Best all around tires?

I just purchased a 1991 W201 190E. Needs lots of TLC but is a good solid driver. Need/Want to replace tires ASAP and wondering what everyone’s favorite all season tire is?

Thanks!

I also own a 1991 190E and I continue to use Pirelli like what the car originally came with.

When I had my 190E, it came with Pirelli tires. At about 30K miles, they became "hairy." The steel belting material was raveling into individual threads and was migrating out of the sidewalls of the tires. Not good. No more Pirelli for me.

The remainder of the time I had the car, I ran Yokohama A008 tires. These may no longer be a current model, but the brand worked flawlessly for me. I did switch from the stock size to a fatter tire with the same diameter, though. IIRC, I was running a 60-series aspect ratio tire. To me, the beefier tire looker better. YMMV.

I've had no such trouble with my Pirelli's.
