Center heat ac vents

This summer I replaced my heater core as per instructions on pelican parts diy
in the process I lost my plastic vents
1991 190 E 2.3
after 30 years plastic really brittle
Has anyone found these other than a junkyard? Seems the ones I’ve found are not much better than the ones I destroyed
Thank You

I have hardy ever seen vents that are in tact at the JY. 5 years running. I would say I have seen at least a couple hundred W201's and W124's during that period
You can buy new ones but they are expensive, unfortunately. EBAY has them, which probably means the dealership may still have them for the same price or cheaper if you can get wholesale pricing.

Thank you
looks like they are new
made overseas
Will check with dealer as they are pricey
Never thought of ebay

I did find the rubber pieces around the outside mirrors that came from Turkey and they worked out great
Appreciate your help

Your welcome Ohmann, parts from Turkey can be OE quality. For example most late model Headlight/taillight fixtures for European manufacturers like Audi/Porshe/BMW used to be made there. Not sure about Mercedes.
Good to know if/when the rubber pieces are needed, mine are still original.

Good luck sourcing the plastics. After replacing most plastics in the car and other interior parts, I finally tinted the glasses for preservation, even though tinting is not my "thing".

- Cheers!

Heat and age makes plastic brittle.
