Hey Ali, welcome to MB-World. It could be a few things.
(1) The temp sensor around the dome light up front could be malfunctioning. But I'm not sure if your car has that because it is not North America production
(2) The heater core valve could be malfunctioning. For NA model that is controlled via vacuum switchover unit and the valve is near the battery side, follow the heater core hose coming in from the engine and you will find it.
But all of these are NA version cars with automatic climate control. I do not know what you have. Perhaps post a picture of your Center Console.
- Cheers!

You are aware that the center vents are just pass through and all heating/cooling comes from the side vents correct?
