I recently purchased a 1991, 190E (WDB2010281F846769) last year . I just ran the Vin and was checking on the confriguration/options

I noticed on the car, that the front passenger side glass, seems to have dark tint around the edges. ( Cant tell if rear has it since, I cant get the window down) The drivers side looks like regulator glass. The card list a 593 option which states. HEAT-INSULTIONING GLASS, ALL-AROUND, HEATED REAR WINDOW PANE (SINGLE-SHEET SAFETY GLASS) AND BAND FILTER

Does anyone have some info on this? Im guess all around tinted glass, but cant figure out the dark edge on the passenger seat.

Second questions is 551 which shows ANTI-THEFT/ANTI-BRAK IN WARNING SYSTEM. I dont see anything on the car that shows this, ie no red blinking lights or any dash indictors.

Not sure about the 593 option other than to say that there might've been some window replacement along the way and that might account for the difference. The anti-theft system is easier to tell. You can tell by the key or keys you have. Cars equipped with the anti-theft system have 2 keys, the regular ignition key and a smaller valet key. The valet key doesn't set the alarm. Lock the car with the regular key and then try to open it with the valet key will set off the alarm. I did exactly that one quiet Saturday morning and woke up my entire neighborhood. Hope this helps.
