190e Putting M103 double fans onto a M102

I had a 300TE donor with prefectly working double front fans with all the plastic trim and everything, what would I need to do if possible to attach them to the 190e 2.3 that I have rn,I took off the non working fan.Changed the radiator(experianced a boil over and cracked the side plastic) and put in some fresh coolant,I don't appear to overheat now (but it's about 1c rn so I doubt it will overheat on coolant) I did almost overheat with water after standing for about 5-6mins with hating on.When driving/ highway temp doesn't get higher than 80-90(on a hot summer day) so it's purely a traffic/standing issue.I have yet to do the carrot test on the bigger fan but I doubt that's the cause of the issue.Would love to hear some feetback.I assume part of of the issue was me running for a while on a 50/50 + water mixture (ik dumb af but whatever it happend)

I do not know the answer to your question but I wonder if that would be a band aid to your cooling problems. Also note that at this age, your head gasket has a limited number of extreme coolant heat/prressure excursions before it gives. So it is a numbers game of Russian roulette.

I'm not sure if the double fans will help that much. A boil over means your aux fan did not come on at the correct temp at least that one time. SO it could be an intermittent relay or other electrical issue. Also you mechanical clutch fan may not be working properly, I would check that. I assume you know how to check the clutch fan. If it turns freely spun by hand it is done.

In addition to checking everything that Dolucassi suggested, you might also want to replace your thermostat. I'm also not sure if a double fan from a W124 will fit a W201 given the W124's larger overall size than the W201. BTW, if your car still has it's MB radiator, you need to use MB coolant only. Non MB coolant will damage the plastic interior of your MB radiator. Horror stories of the damage caused by this can be found in various online MB forums. You also should be using distilled water which is less corrosive than tap water.

Some preventative “mods” I have done to prevent this are an upgraded thermostat that opens at lower temp, a new fan clutch and I had my indie wire the aux fans to come on at a sooner temp.

my car will not pass 90-100 under any circumstance. Most extreme is a long drive-thru idle which I don’t do anymore

the aux fans are really a last resort to overheating and not sure how to install the different fans but long term you are better off trying those mods

That's a risky assumption to make at best. Any car has the potential to overheat depending on what the failed part is.

Well to just mention some things,The main fan speens super easy when engine off after running a couple hours(idk if i should of tested when on);the front fan obv haven't come on cuz I took it off as it didn't work,I changed the coolant exp.tank cap and rad(not for an OEM one but should still do the job).Still can't find the fan specs,it fit's very snuggly under the grill and hood even tho it comes from a 300TE.Just a quick clarification I mean the double fron fans Aka the aux ones that come off at 90odd degrees my 190e had a single one,but I'we seen some with double ones so I'm kinda confused

Parts from the larger W124 will fit more snugly in the smaller W201. For the best results for your cooling system, you're best off using OEM parts and OEM parts that were made specifically for your particular MB and not a larger MB model.
