Hey does anyone know what's the colour on the EVO I / II? I thought of getting my car sprayed black until I realised that there are so many owners here who also painted their car black. I heard that the EVOs are not totally black so just wondering what it is.

Any other colour suggestions would also be greatful.

Both the Evolution (Sport) and the Evolution II were only delivered from Mercedes in color code 199, blau-schwartz metallic (Blue-Black). They were also only made in LHD.

paint the car any color you want, just do it after you get the body kit, and paint the Body Kit at the same time.

Respraying in a drastically different color raises some issues with the door jambs/pillars and the color under the hood. Unless you're prepared to spend the extra bucks to have those done, you might want to consider a color that's close to what you have.

At the moment now my car's green/black. More green actually.

Saw a pearl white 190E and it was good but looked abit conservative. Ever seen a babe driving a 190E? Well I saw one and it was pearl white, 2.3 16v.
Thought maybe a dark metallic maroony colour but see how it goes. In the mean time will go for blue/black EVO colour.
