Hey-

I was told I need a new fuel pressure regulator. Can someone explain to me what exactly this part does? I understood what the mechanic told me, but I just want to make sure before I go drop 250 on this thing what it does. Thanks guys

Regulates fuel pressure to the distributor. It makes sure there is not excess pressure or surges from the pump. Makes everything flow smooth. If you really need one I have a spare in my garage. I will sell you cheap, that way you are not dumping 250 bucks on a regulator you may not need.

Will e-mail you when I get home. As far as I know it is the same unit accross all 190E's regardless of Engine and year. It is the same part listed for my year and yours on EuropeanAutomotive.com.

My e-mail is jamison.marsala@verizon.net
