My 1989 190E 2 liter petrol (that's gasoline for the rest of the world) start first time when cold. However, once it reach normal running tempereture and the engine is switched off for a few minutes, it refuses to start. Nada, Nicht...After a few try's it will eventually start, sputtering for a few seconds (as it was flooded). Frustrating, more over when a few mechanics can't find the fault.

Any suggestions?
