HELP!! my 1990e Engine won't start
Please help me start my m/benz 190e engine

My m/benz 190e engine will not start. I have replaced the spark plugs and checked for the spark - it is OK. engine compression is ove 125lb psi. replaced the fuel filter. battery is good too. Engine turns with the starter OK. It is a fuel injection model - bosch CIS- (KE-Jetronic) the fuel pump is OK too. Plenty of fuel pressure at the cold start injector and fuel distributor. But I am not sure if the pressure at the injector pipes is adiquate.
Any suggetions to get this engine started? I should be greatful for any help and suggetions.

When was the last time the engine started and ran?
Some possibilities:
not enough air - clean/check throttle body function
bad Crank Sensor (aka position sender unit)
bad idle valve, O2 sensor and/or OVP (although the car should still start)
may need to clean the electrical connections (for sensors, relays, computer)

Thank you for your suggetions. I shall most certainly get working on the items you suggested. The car was being driven by my wife. She says the car stalled and she managed to get it started by pumping the accelarator a few times. Than the engine ran fine, she did her running about without any problem and drove the car home - no problem. Next day I tried to start the car and it just will not fire. I am still trying to get the engine started. Will let you know if and when the problem gets sorted. THANKS
