Power Seating

So I was taking off these sheepskins that have been on my 1985 190E 2.3 that have been on for about 15 years. I reclined the power seats, only to discover that they won't go back up! They're stuck against the rear seats now. I'm wondering if there is any easy solution to this that I can do myself, rather than take it to a mechanic because it's currently not very drivable. Could it possibly just involve replacing a fuse? Or would I have ot remove the door panel? Anyone know of a solution?

I would check the fuses first
there are two fuse
fuse number 12 white (8A) for the control unit
and a blue (25A) may be two for the seats found near the fuse box
