A couple of people i work with have told me that it is possible to convert the 190E front end to a 1999 C280 Front end. If anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

 

There is a costly procedure to "blend" the C-class grill onto the W201 hood. It's not a bolt on conversion. You'll need to cut the front grill off the C-class, then weld it onto, and then body work it to blend onto the old hood. Fitting has to be carefully done.

There is a one-off custom W201 that had the whole front and rear blended on, but that would take a lot of custom bodywork. Of course, with enough time and money . . .
