The History of Drexappeal's Ride (9/1/09 Post 1309 - Nitto INVO Tires Installed)

Aside from Jose, has anybody else gotten a Euro License plate and mounted it without using the OEM Plate conversion part?
I may have to go to the parts that Jose came up with a couple years back because my "custom" bracket from Napa Autoparts may be too big to do both.
I was told that rear Euro plate is supposed to be Yellow, but I didn't really care since it's just for novelty.
Anyways, I'm gonna get this done this weekend, most likely, but thought I'd see if anybody else has done the dual license plate mounting.
Some Euro nations have yellow plates, some have white, some have both.
For instance, UK has yellow. Netherlands has yellow & white. Others are always white. The yellow ones are becoming more and more rare outside of the UK.

And it's very secure right now. Gonna re-do it tonight, but much easier than trying to get the old mounts to work properly.I am probably gonna take the easy route and by the OEM benz bracket, but it'll work for now and for Saturday's meet (unless I decide to change it before then).

Hopefully they can re-spray w/o having to do the entire bumper and still be able to blend. So now, I have to go as straight as possible into the driveway, which makes it even more difficult to get into the driveway.
Ugh, gotta do a custom lip soon.

It’s a twice daily occurrence with mine. Street approach is / and driveway looks like \. Torsional rigidity and its lack of articulation FTW on the smooth, twisty bits.
That nasty splitter I long for will have to wait until the civil engineering crew has completed their upgrades.

better to scrape the CF lip than the paint...

Trust me, it's secure. Trust me, zip ties are better mounting tools than anybody ever gives them credit for.
