Door locks locking/unlock

Door locks locking/unlock
E500 2003
My wife was driving the car this week and told me she heard a clicking noise. It would begin then quit. What she found was the door locks were locking/then unlocking while driving. This would start then stop for a while then begin. It is all 4 door locks. Any thoughts on this one?
I went into the FSS and Vehicle settings and have turned OFF the auto lock function to confirm if it is computer or something else. If it stops we will know it is computer and then turn it back ON to see if the problem occurs. If this is confirmed guess we will drive the 200 miles to local ? dealer for repairs. Just wondering if anyone had dealt with this problem Thanks

I had a Chrysler a few years ago that did the same thing. Turned out to be a door switch that controls the interior lights when the door is opened was shorting out, causing the car to think the door was being opened, closed, opened, closed, etc. It was an easy fix. Hope you have the same luck.

Konigstiger- I heard about lubing the rods for the "pogo" lock fix. I changed the door lock actuator as i heard others didnt have much sucess with the lubing. Did it work for you? I paid about $90 for the actuator and i thought it wasnt worth the trouble of lubing it and not working. Can you also send me a copy of the DTB?
