Is that a AMG badge on the back?? If so, your gay, and so is that 440 HP claim. 60 HP from an ECU on a 550?? Not even Carlsson can do that. Oh and congrats on buying some very heavy wheels for an already very heavy car

I have to agree with you. I'm not even sure I would use one of those wheels as a spare after having a flat tire. I can't decide which would be more embarrassing , having my car towed or using one of those as a spare.

 

So, this car costs close to a S63. I bring the S63 up and not the 600 as this car sports an AMG badge.

But if you come up next to a S63, dont you risk being a bit embarrased (having two exhaust tips, no AMG brakes etc).

Especially living in Orange County where S63/65 are quite common

You're right, we have been tough on him and I think he is a good sport. I hope he doesn't leave. The car is beautiful and I hope he stays with us. Like I said in the other thread, he should see if it would be cost effective to have them altered to look better. The design of the wheel may be just fine but I can't tell as they are and the loss of selling them might be the same as just having them altered.
Having them chromed or turned into brushed aluminum would be my suggestion.

I dont know about the US but in Canada the dealer puts the AMG sign when you get the package and about the weight of the car...who cares if he puts heavy rims on a heavy car? big ****ing deal if you dont like it then dont do it?

This whole car is gone once the 2010's come out with mid-cycle refreshed
front end next summer anyway.

I bought the 550 thinking a 5.5 0-60 would be fast enough. So after driving it so hard I went through a set of Pirelli Pzero Neros in 5000 miles I found out that I really wanted to go faster and drive harder since it handles as good as it does. By that time it already had the cosmetic mods and I figured might as well finish it off with 60hp. It does a 5.0 0-60 its fine for now, its only .4 tenths slower than a 63
