For some of you new C55ers or others looking to Mod this is a good deal. and It will be power you can feel. I have a kinda similar setup and love it. IMO if the E55 airbox makes the power claims it would be better than the Renntech Airbox. The E55 air intake mod will allow for better engine cooling as it does not have a huge box on top of the intake manifold to hold in the heat.

Does anyone know what octane the Powerchip is tuned for with this? 91? Anyway, bump for a great deal!

Only because I've been drinking tonight......... 93oct means like about 86-88 motor octane and there is not way 93oct will give out 7 more whp. But i could see 4whp. IMO after running 100 octane race fuel = 100motor octane gaining 10whp (DD dyno) I just dont feel ( and I feel real good ) 93oct advancing the timing enough to give out 7whp... then again now that i think about it 7whp could be gained....... I should just delete this post.

BTW got a nice Kill story to tell when i wake up.

What if I already have a powerchip? You can just flash it. Where does that leave me with the price?

How do these Log style manifolds compare to the renntech shorties and or Kleemann quasi full lengths? Ever stuck them on a flow bench if there is such a CFM setup for headers. Other than cost why not do a tubular for the same price if you already have the jig. I note you didn't do this design for the v6 motors, nor has anyone else actually. Just curious, and wonder what the difference in gains would be stock v. log v. shorty v. Kleemann type.

Thanks. Sean

Than your price will be $2199.

Sean, no flow bench, but dyno testing. There is no room to get equal length runners and to keep them a bolt on item. V6s are easier. Long tube no doubt would be the best, but the cost, removal of factory cats and increase in noise are the factors that turn off a lot of people.

thanks

im definitely interested Vadim. I live in the Sacramento area. If I were to drive down and get the package installed at your shop what would the turnaround time be with a set appointment? I would make the trip if the install time is reasonable

No, that has not been necessary.

Please reply to post #8.

Are we talking about the W209 CLK55 or W208 CLK 55?

The intake tubes from the CLK55 W208 will not work on those 55 kompressor airboxes that's for sure! Neither will those VRP headers because of the firewall. A C43 will have the same exact problem as a W208 CLK55.

So I will assume that these parts will only work on a C55,W209 CLK55 and a W210 E55. Not the W208 CLK55 nor a C43.

Correct. W208 has different headers and air boxes.
