Once I drove an all wheel drive car, I would never go back thus I didn't like the new A4 but loved the C 300.

My previous car was a 2007 Peugeot 307cc with their platinum + sport package. Great car, nice mix of luxury and sport.. too bad they don't import to the US.

Why on earth would you want an Audi R8? I got in quite a discussion with someone I work with over this car last week. It's seriously overpriced and slow.
Compare the Audi R8 to the C63 and the C63 would probably come out on top for half the price due to its much heavier helping of torque. Weight to power ratio they're only off by a fraction of a percent.. but the Audi is still an Audi on the inside.
Dollar for dollar, if you compare the R8 to the CLS63 you still get a faster, cheaper, and more luxurious car from Mercedes. Audi simply isn't in the same league as Mercedes on their high-end manufacturing.

But the CLS might as well be a Kia Spectra when sitting next to an R8 because that's about how appealing it'll look. I've never bought cars based on logic. The R8 is just....inexplicably amazing. One of my favorite cars ever built.
I'm hoping after the excitement fades in a couple years they'll no longer be so marked up and I can pick one up that's a couple years old.

Vic, I have had my share of Saabs. They are great cars. So few people pay attention to them. I was so close to getting a Turbo-X Sportcombi. The aftermarket here is terrible for Saabs though. I knew I would want Hirsch wheels, so I did some research when I was considering the car. I learned that noone was willing to send them to the US.
