But the CLS might as well be a Kia Spectra when sitting next to an R8 because that's about how appealing it'll look. I've never bought cars based on logic. The R8 is just....inexplicably amazing. One of my favorite cars ever built.
I'm hoping after the excitement fades in a couple years they'll no longer be so marked up and I can pick one up that's a couple years old.

I'm really basing my decision on looks because I haven't really driven anything faster than my C300...except maybe my cousin's modded Accord, but it wasn't that much faster...

I totally agree with you. The Audi R8 is the most beautiful car ever! My cousin and I were have a discussion about what looked better. He thought a Lamborghini looked better than the R8! Plus they're kinda tired now..the R8 is more of a head turner for sure.
