I believe you have to remove the surge tank and its under there

Absolute BEOTCH to get at. No idea in the world why AMG hid it deep and out of range like that.

Good luck replacing, it was a several hour party for me.

Bumping this old thread to say you are totally correct. I'd rather get my pubes waxed than change one of these again. There's just no room to get to those two stupid bolts.

Hey, you know what's better than changing out this stupid MAP sensor? Changing out the MAP sensor with a brand new sensor, putting everything back together, starting the car, having it idle like crap leading you to check all the coils, plugs, injectors, and hoses before deciding that the new MAP sensor is bad so you have to drive 30 miles (each way) to the dealer tomorrow to get another new sensor to do the install again.
