VIN question
The last eight of my VIN are AA126102. I noted that you reference VIN's with A and then numbers. Would mine come after the ones your last listed?
Thanks.
Thanks.

VIN range references apply to the last seven characters of your VIN. A126102 is higher than A057743 and below VIN cutoff A154303 therefore, bulletin 048662 applies to your vehicle if deflector below windshield is or becomes detached and protrudes in places.

TSB Sits?
[quote=konigstiger;3917691]
LI83.10-P-048662 JAN10 VIN range A057743 to A154303, water deflector below the windshield can become detached.
I e-mailed the service manager and he responded that if I had problem as described in the TSB, I could get it fixed. No problem that I am aware of. Will call him later, but got to wondering.
Your information is really appreciated, but is there a site where I can go to find the actual TSB? I checked out DOT, Edmunds and a couple of others, but they had no listings for 2010 E's.
Thanks.

Need your help konigstiger
Hi konigstiger,
Your knowledge is very valuable for us. I need your help, I have a 2010 E350 4matic and I am having an awkward issue with the tranny, the tranny shifts smoothly except upshiftting from 4th to 5th gear, it has hiccup at low RPMs " between 1,500 and 2,500 RPMs, 25 to 35 MPH " it's kind drops the gear, and that when the adaptive shifting kicks in, it doesn't happen when the vehicle is cold or the transmission memory is reseted. However It doesn't happen while down-shifting either. I went to the dealer 3 times about this and they said "It's product characteristics and it's your driving style, you need to drive it more aggressively" is that true? I test drove a similar car for a family member and I am pretty sure that he doesn't drive that car aggressively and the tranny was very smooth. Is it normal behavior? If not, is there any service bulletin regarding this issue? what do you advise me to do?
There was thread that i have initiated about this earlier:
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ease-help.html
Your help is greatly appreciated.
