Which of the mirror covers did you get? There are so many different price levels on ebay...

They are the $15 ones. I figured for that price I'd try them and I was actually surprised how good they look. They are real CF with a clearcoat. I'll probably replace them with the thicker, more expensive ones later.

I'm not sure how much the FRP version is. I say get the CF and paint it.

The mirror covers, are they stiff and pre-formed to the curve of the mirror or are they a flimsy sticker? I got burned once already by this type of product from china. Looked brutal and fitment was way off (ie. too small.) Also, the "clear coat finish" on them was globbed all over the place.

They are not stiff and preformed, but they are not a flimsy sticker. I saw some on ebay that were not even real CF but they claimed they are. The fitment is good and the clearcoat is about 95%. If I look really close I can see a few tiny dimples in the finish, but they are not noticeable unless you are about a foot away and look very carefully.
I will eventually dish out the ridiculous amount of money and buy the Brabus version, but I figured these were inexpensive and would satisfy me temporarily.
